Årgangen 2007 er en mellomårgang for hvit burgund, innhøstingen var tidlig (2003 var tidligere) i klart fint septembervær og flere kunne nok ha ventet noen uker for å oppnå bedre modning og dybde i vinene. I tillegg var det endel hagelbyger i en kald sommer og variabel varme bidro til en ujevn modning av druene. Vinene har god syre, medium kropp og er slankere i stilen enn 2005 og 2006. De er rene og mineralske i stilen og vinmakere som ventet med innhøstingen har laget bedre viner. Vinene fra 2007 synes jeg har holdt seg overraskende godt med mindre innslag av premox enn andre årganger på 2000 tallet. Spesielt synes jeg Chablis fra gode produsenter har prestert godt. Vinklubben har drukket mye av årgangen, og spesielt må nevnes de hvite fra Domaine Leflaive og Coche Dury når de ikke er oksidert...

Chassagne Montrachet Les Vergers 2007, Domaine Ramonet

Klassisk Ramonet på nesa med slør av ny eik, svovel og litt reduksjon. Relativ enkel i munnen, mangler kompleksitet og flere var på en enkel Chablis eller Bourgogne Blanc. God presis finish, sitrus, men mangler litt trøkk. 91 poeng

Grand Cru på nesa, saftaktig citrus, men samtidig uhyre elegant. Røyktoner, eik og en intens og god balansert vin. Slår i en betydelig høyere vektklasse enn etiketten tilsier. 94 poeng

Vouvray Clos du Bourg Sec 2007, Domaine Huet

Mørkere utviklet vin med snev av gummi, treverk og med en sødmetone i finish. Aprikos med innslag av malt ølbrygg, men vinen har en bra snert i finish og fremdeles frisk. Parfymert, litt slækk i stilen og ikke en vin for alle. 89 poeng.

Bourgogne Blanc 2007, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue 

Strågul og frisk med innslag av vitaplex og medisinal. Litt uren med gjærtoner og grov. Grønn smak med bladverk og snev av krydder. Vinen mangler endel og flater ut. Er aldri blitt imponert av denne. 87 poeng. Selges nå fra produsenten som monocru Grand Cru Musigny Blanc til kr. 9 000,- pr flaske (22)

Chablis Premier Cru Butteaux 2007, Domaine Raveneau 

Korngul og en eldet vin. Rik i stilen for vinmarken med et snev av oksidasjon. Eple, citrus, bra konsentrasjon. Jeg likte nok denne bedre enn de andre. 89 poeng

Spearmint og fresh i munnen. Et grønt skjær i vinen gjør at den er litt annerledes enn de andre i rekka. Corton ? En leskende og deilig vin. Ikke antydning til premox. Knuts vin. 94 poeng

Ikke antydning til premox, superb dyp og intens nese.  Bra syresnert, citrus med en fantastisk bra energi. Stor vin ! 95 poeng

Håvard J:  Dyp rik nese - samtidig er duftene litt subtile. Parfyme, sitrus, kritt/kalk og spice. Fresht.

Rik munnfølelse med flott fylde. Stor konsentrasjon og intensiteten brer seg godt rundt i munnhulen.
God friskhet. Meget lang med vibrerende mineralitet. 95p

Relativ lys til å være premox. Jeg prøvde å være positiv, men vinen mangler løft av frukt i munnen. Den har tydelig lys brun frukt i munnen og dette er ikke en optimal flaske. Men jeg var på grensen  til å gi den poeng. Ikke vurdert.


Bienvenues Montrachet 2007, Domaine Ramonet 
Tydelig eik med fløtekarameller og en deilig voluminøs vin. Men samtidig uelegant US chardonnay. Men en god flaske Ramonet har extra dimensjon på dette nivået. 94 poeng

Pent krydret i en rik stil. Men ikke for voldsomt og flere trodde vi var i hvit burgund land. Delikat og pent eiket. Frisk og fersk og kan såklart fortsatt lagres. men drikker godt nå ! Kr. 500,-. 88 poeng.

The wine has up-front fruit, a salinity shared with Chacra Chardonnay, and a tasty finish lent by the calcareous components of the alluvial soil.” -Piero Incisa

100% Chardonnay Aged: 18% in concrete eggs, 25% in stainless steel tanks and 57% in French oak barrels (12% new) for 10 months. Vines are own-rooted, farmed biodynamically and organically.

Bodega Chacra owner Piero started a partnership to produce Chardonnay with Meursault legend Jean-Marc Roulot after a chance conversation. Some underperforming old Merlot vines were grafted to Chardonnay and the first vintage was released 2017. More plantings have followed as the region seems very suited to Chardonnays, which are taut, linear and minerally in style.

Litt flat og flabby og ikke i nærheten av kvaliteten i 2010 som Knut serverte i sitt siste møte. Men rik og konsentrert frukt, mangler elegansen. Men viser at det kan lages god hvit vin selv i en vanskelig årgang. 90 poeng.

 

Sanford & Benedict Chardonnay 2019, Racines Wine

Overraskende klassisk US på steroider. Moden frukt, kjølig ananas og selv om den er moderat ekspressiv er det mye tropiske aromaer som overskygger endel annet. Fra kjølige Santa Rita Hills. Et samarbeidsprosjekt mellom Rodolphe Peters, Etienne de Montille & Brian Sieve. Kr. 560,-. 89 poeng

Beaune 1cru Clos des Mouches 2016, Domaine Berthelemot

Moden og rik med litt chablisk gul steinaktig frukt. Kalkaktig, lett oksidativ og ikke en helt ren flaske. Snev av aprikos, epler og relativt klassisk. Litt uenighet om flaskekvalitet. Les Mouches betyr bier på gammelfransk, vinmarken ligger sydøstvendt, er varm og tiltrekker seg bier og blomster. Den ligger mellom Pommard og Beaune og består av ca. 50/50 Pinot Noir/Chardonnay. (Drouhin bl.a. produserer en god rød Clos des Mouches) Denne hvite nå kr. 875,- på VP (2020) 88-90 poeng

Meursault Le Limozin 2016, Domaine Fabien Coche 

Klassisk chardonnay med snev av vitaplex og grillet sitron. Også her gul frukt, men litt uforløst i stilen. Vinen har bra trøkk og trenger ytterligere lagring. Vinmarken ligger rett nedenfor Genevrières. 92 poeng

Mais på nesa, endel eik som whiffer av. Kjølig, tørr og mineralsk. Grønn og steinaktig. Rik stil for en MdT. Roar naila produsent og vinmark ! 91-92 poeng

Bourgogne Blanc 2010, Domaine Roulot 

Fremdeles stram og thight som bare Roulot kan. Utrolig høy kvalitet for en Bourgogne Blanc. Frisk og i en kjølig og konsentrert stil. Kan fremdeles lagres. Kjøpt i sin tid på Røa polet til kr. 262,-. For et kjøp !! 93 poeng

Jean-Marc Roulot commented that 2010 was easy in the vineyard but not so simple in the cellar, mostly because of very long malolactic fermentations that did not finish until the following August! The harvest started on September 17 and the wines came in with 12.8 -13.5 natural alcohols, which is at the higher end of the range for the domaine. Because of the lengthy malos, the 2010s were bottled a little later than normal. The 2010s are quite representative of the year in that they have considerable richness and at the same time high acidities. They are remarkably vivid, expressive to site and flat-out gorgeous.

Transparent, blank , grønn og stor vin i munnen. Litt grov gul frukt med innslag av lime. Moderat syre og litt mye uttrekk/berme. Kan virke syrejustert. En veldig god Meursault kloning som lurer de fleste. 91-92 poeng

Kumeu River Hunting Hill Chardonnay 2016, New Zealand
Svovel og kruttrøyk på nesa, blank og kjølig frukt. Sitter godt i munnen med citrus og eik. Gule blomster etterhvert i glasset, markjordbær, toastede fat & lime. En god frisk hvitvin med pen konsentrasjon. Flere var i Puligny. Utrolig at ingen importerer denne i Norge. 90-92 poeng

Puligny Montrachet La Garenne 2010, Marc Colin et Fils
Popcorn på nesa med grønnskjær. Moden, rik og med endel alkohol. 2015 ? God konsentrasjon, klassisk og overraskende fet for en Puligny. Men ganske typisk for årgangen. 92-93 poeng

Chardonnay 2013, Grgich Hills Estate
Breial og rik i munnen med innslag av fersken og salte nøtter. Men samtidig frisk med en veldig god konsentrasjon og en pen balanse i munnen. En moderat Napamoden stil som faktisk fikk flere til å forslå Chassagne/sentralburgund. Steinaktig salt, lang ettersmak, fin mineralitet og en strålende US Chardonnay. Nesten bedre enn Kistler ! 92-93 poeng.

Kroaten Mike Grgich nærmer seg 100 år og han var tidligere bl.a. vinmaker for Chateau Montelenas Chardonnay 1973 som slo de beste hvite burgundere i "Paris 1976-smakingen" ! Se intervju:

Lys, transparent og på kanten til mager. Pepper, allehånde, lett i munnen og mangler dybde. God syre, sitter lenge i munnen. Stram og således mer typisk Roulot enn 2010. Ung og bør lagres. Litt av en BB ! 90-93 poeng.

Mere spearmint, strågul og bittert. Litt vanskelig og grønn nå. Uforløst, steinaktig, noe gassbind, syrlig og stram. Viser fram vinmarken på en god måte. Kr. 1 020,-. Mange igjen bl.a. på Aker Brygge. 92 poeng

Meursault Les Narvaux 2016, Ballot-Millot
Åpen, rik og tilgjengelig i forhold til Perrieres. Krydder, god mineralitet, endel fat, kiwifrukt og elegant. Drikker godt allerede. 89 poeng.

Lead by the work of what connoisseurs call the “Big 3” in Meursault, Coche-Dury, Comtes Lafon, and Domaine Roulot, they proved that this humble village with no Grand Crus can often reach the heights of ANY Chardonnay from anywhere. Their work has also spurred a new generation of winemakers in Meursault to push the limits of quality. Winemakers like Arnaud Ente, Jean-Philippe Fichet, Antoine and Remi Jobard, and Boisson-Vadot, just to name a few, are now being highly sought after as fine addresses for riveting White Burgundy.

And now there is a new name to add to that list…Domaine Ballot-Millot.

The story at this fine domaine is one you encounter more often now in Burgundy. In 2001, a motivated, young vigneron, Charles Ballot took over from his father. Like many talented young winemakers, he wanted to raise the bar and leave his mark for his family’s domaine. The domaine already had a good reputation from his father’s day, and had been around as well quite a long time as the family had started to amass vineyards in Meursault starting at the end of the 17th century. They were also privileged to possess holdings in five Premier Crus in Meursault, including the famed, Perrières and Charmes, plus Genevrières, Bouchères and Poruzots, not to mention small holdings in the 1er Crus of Chassagne, Volnay, Pommard and Beaune. His first task was to start working the soils, reducing yields, and moving from chemical/systemic treatments to more natural ones. He soon added a sorting table in the vineyards and upgraded the press and in general found ways to work more precisely in the cellar. Today, the estate is comprised of 10 HA of vineyards, 7 of which are in Meursault proper. The relative vine age is old: Perrières (40+), Genevrières (70+), Narvaux (45-60), etc. Harvest is all done by hand, and fermentations take place with indigenous yeasts. Otherwise, everything in the cellar is done to encourage finesse and delineation over sheer power. The white wines see only 10-20% new oak (max 25%) and are raised without battonage. They are aged 12 months in barrel, and then racked to tank for additional 6 months of refinement as is now standard procedure at more and more of the top White Wine estates in Cote D’Or. The resulting wines tend toward the so-called “Roulot-school” of Meursault, more tensile and racy, as opposed to the fatter, honeyed and nutty style wines that dominated the landscape 20-30 years ago.

Bouzeron 2014, Domaine A. et P. de Villaine
Lett og transparent i munnen, vinen skiller seg ut i rekka. Øistein var tidlig på Chablis. Mineralsk, citrus og whiff av sjø og østers. Grønn, medium og med en mager, men kledelig fruktkjerne. En delikat og god vin med pen lengde. En av de bedre Aligotène smakt ! 90-92 poeng

The 26ha of Domaine de Villaine are centred in Bouzeron an area first planted to the vine by the monks of Cluny in the middle ages, situated just south of the Cote d’Or and north of Rully. Here the poor soils and limestone-rich slopes are reserved for Bouzeron’s speciality, Aligote. The impeccable terroir here shows that given a chance to shine, this is a grape variety that can produce wonderfully characterful, harmonious wines. The Domaine is run by Pierre de Benoist who is the nephew of the Domaine’s founder, Aubert de Villaine, and is fiercely committed to producing wines of outstanding quality in as environmentally friendly a way as possible. The Estate has been certified organic since 1986 and Pierre has been making bio-dynamic trials. Yields are low, up to 20% less than the maximum allowed for AOC rules, and picking is by hand at optimal maturity. The heart of the estate lies in the oft-forgotten Aligoté grape. In Bouzeron the Aligotée Doré grape takes centre stage, a variety that is lower-cropping than its more widely-planted cousin Aligoté vert. At Domaine de Villaine it takes pride of place, reserved for the best vineyard sites the prime, steep limestone-rich slopes, and here it shows just how striking the wines can be.

Bouzeron is a commune in the Saône-et-Loire department in the region of Bourgogne in eastern France.

Aligoté originates from Burgundy where it is used to add a bit of life and bite to the local crème de cassis in order to make Kir. There are some good stand-alone examples, however, producing fresh and invigorating wines. The most mineral and complex of these are to be found around the communes of Pernand-Vergelesses in the Côte de Beaune and Bouzeron in the Chalonnais.

Tilbaketrukket og lett reduktiv nese. Moden lime, tropisk, veldig lite Roulot typisitet. Smør, melange, bra syre, noe hard ekstraksjon. Litt varmere tone enn de andre. 87-89 poeng.

Pernand Vergelesses Combottes 2017, Clos du Moulin aux Moines

Fet og rik i uttrykket, ananas og mango på nesa, men uttrykksfull og elegant mineralsk i munnen. Snev av alkohol, friskt og godt. Moden frukt, utvikler seg positivt i glasset. Kr. 360,- på VP.

Litt reduktiv og lukket. En solid Bourgogne Blanc fra en produsent vi ikke drikker så ofte. Kompleks og solid, citrus og toasty fat. Kan fortsatt lagres. Krydret og stram i munnen. God fylde og struktur. Mere Premier Cru enn kommunevin dette. Matvin så det holder. Imponerende ! 90-91 poeng

Grapes from morey st Denis, only a barrel or two made per year. Very sulphurous at first but blew off. Promising nose, almost a corton kind of funk but falls a little short. Lots of acid, very youthful tasting. Just think it needs more time to open up

Bra spenst til å være en 2009 ! Holder seg fremdeles veldig godt. Stor munnfølelse, god mineralitet, blomster, noe sitron, god fylde og typisk "Coche-sexy". Bra balanse, men den bør nok drikkes mens den fremdeles er i dette formatet. 90-92 poeng

Falt faktisk igjennom vs. de to andre. Overraskende da jeg synes denne har drukket veldig godt tidligere. Viser nå en utviklet stil og snev av tropisk frukt. Vandig og svir litt mht. alkohol.

Mere tropisk, rik, fet & oversjøisk. Lucien le Moine aktig i stilen. Årgangen spiller nok inn.

Tydelig sentralburgunder i en syrerik stil. Skarp, steinaktig, rettlinjet med citrus. Frisk stil og en typisk representant for årgangen. 92-93 poeng

Kanel, krydder, noe skallmaserasjon, tyggegummi og eik. Mere trøkk i smakskurven, Grand Cru aktig format, mere moden og søt frukt. 94 poeng.

Lett oksidert, uren sherry, premox. Ikke vurdert.

Lapola Ribeira Sacra 2012, Galica
Aromatisk, litt sødmefull, eik & honning. Hvit burgund sier Are. Litt mye alkohol. En spennende hvitvin. Fikk 2 stemmer. Godella, Albarino & Dona Blanca. 83 poeng.

Sancerre Grande Reserve 2013, Henri Bourgeois
Litt anonym nese, tydelig Sauvignon Blanc, litt mer tilbakeholden. Men renere og mer slank og presis i uttrykket. Fikk 3 stemmer. 84 poeng

Piere Sauvignon Vie di Romans 2010, Friuli
Rett i margen Sauvignon Blanc med fruktig kattepiss og ekspressiv solbærbusk. Introvert, litt lukket. Cloudy Bay vin var liksom bedre før. Fikk 1 stemme. 84 poeng

Chablis 1cru Fourchaume 2010, Gerard Duplessis 
God mineralitet, nøytral, litt lukket og bør lagres. Lineær, stram og presis. Fikk 4 stemmer. Viser årgangens styrke i Chablis. Et fantastisk bra kjøp til kr. 260,- (nå i 2012 som også er bra) 86 poeng

Bourgogne Blanc 2012, Domaine Leflaive 
God mineralitet, blek trang og transparent. Delikat, balansert og en veldig god årgang. Fikk 5 stemmer. 88 poeng

La Rocca 2012, Pieropan 
Tung i sessen, god konsentrasjon, mye alkohol, ikke så mye fat, men en vanskelig vin i munnen. "Typisk" italiensk uelegant hvitvin ! Fikk ingen stemmer. 85 poeng

Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru 2010, Billaud Simon  
Blank, grønn og mineralsk. Lang og god konsentrasjon. Intens og en veldig god vin med drahjelp fra en super årgang. Fikk 5 stemmer. 90 poeng

Sterpi Timorasso 2009, Vigneti Massa 
Gul, modent fruktutrykk, endel alkohol, uelegant. Igjen en vanskelig munnfølelse. Fikk ingen stemmer. 85 poeng

Frankrike vant en overlegen seier 17-3 !

Bourgogne Blanc 2006, Leroy (negociant)

Utviklet og gylden med champignontoner. Uelegant og typisk "rar" Leroy. Moden frukt og flere var i Chablis. Noe mineralitet, men snev av gassbind og gul frukt forstyrrer. Mangler renhet og spenst.

Bourgogne Blanc 2011, Bernard Boisson-Vadot

Kjølig mint med kalde deilige citrustoner. Mye syre med friskt integrert fatbruk. Veldig Coche-aktig i stilen med opulent og rik frukt, selv for en Bourgogne Blanc. En moden og fantastisk fruktkvalitet gjennomsyrer vinen. Alle var imponert over denne og produsenten har en stor framtid. Må kjøpes !! 92 poeng.


Bourgogne Blanc 2007, Coche-Dury

Frisk og slank til å være Coche. Syrlig, litt typisk 2007 med noe mager frukt. Men bra mineralitet, et gjenkjennelig røykpreg for produsenten med en lite elegant snev av svovel. 90 poeng

The Boisson family Domaine in Meursault is a total of 8.5 hectares. These are divided up between Bernard Boisson and his two children, Pierre and Anne. The parcels of vines are primarily situated in Meursault with smaller holdings in Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie, Pommard and Beaune. Although not certified organic the Domaine never use any fertiliser or pesticides and all the vines are ploughed to control weeds and to air the soil. Vinification is traditional and the harvest is done by hand. The grapes are sorted in the vines and back at the Domaine before going into vats. The wine is aged in oak barrels between 15 and 18 months, sometimes more if the vintage demands it. New oak is used very sparingly, though there are no hard & fast rules as to percentages of new or old barrels, the vintage decides. What is clear, though, is that in no way do the Domaine want the oak to mask the character of the wine. Bottling is done at the Domaine without any filtration. The wines, even at Bourgogne level, are incredibly intense, taut and powerful, they are definitely the more mineral side of the Meursault spectrum. The flinty, powerful Meursaults rank among the very top wines of the commune.

Vinbaren anbefales på det sterkeste, en veldig kyndig eier, OK mat og et bra utvalg av Coche Dury.

Podere Forte - Val d’Orcia, Tuscany

More than a simple vineyard, Podere Forte embodies a “vocation” aimed at building a model of rural development based on environmental, artistic, technological and cultural values, digging for inspiration in the beauty of the Tuscan territory.

Pasquale Forte, the owner of Podere Forte, depicts his property from memory: “There are vineyards, olive groves, a botanical garden, and a Cinta Senese pig farm from which we produce the finest cold cuts. There are sheep, bee hives, chickens, pastures, wheat and cereals fields; there is even a little tartufaia (truffle field) and a small lake with fish - it’s a real paradise.”

Nestled between the Orcia and Montalcino Rivers at the foothills of Monte Amiata, just south of Siena, these fields, vineyards and olive groves extend over the Podere Forte’s 140 hectares, amidst the Val d’Orcia’s rolling hills

The historic domain that once belonged to the Aldobrandeschi, the Salimbeni and the Petrucci families,was re-baptized Podere Forte in 1997, following the ancient Tuscan custom. It is on this land that was practically left to abandon, that Pasquale Forte decided to recreate the genuine and authentic environment of a traditional farm producing organic wine, oil, flour, honey, spices and salumi.

Podere Forte represents the will, the tenacity and the passion of those who believe that this territory and this property deserve to be protected as a true example of the fundamental role traditional agriculture has had in shaping the landscape and the culture of this region of Tuscany.

“We work the fields like they did 2000 years ago, but in the winery, we are 2000 years ahead,” Forte explains, summarizing his vision. Surrounded by some of the highest authorities of Italian oenology, he was able to raise his Tuscan endeavour of Val d’Orcia to the highest levels of the wine world in a little over ten years. This story is one that combines history and fairy tales as the late Luigi Veronelli once put it. The story of men - Lino Forte, Attilio Scienza, Donato Lanati, and Giacomo Bersanetti - that had set themselves the goal of creating vineyards able to produce superb wines out of an ungrateful land.

“Making a great wine is like creating a work of art.You need raw resources, in this case land and nature, but you also need the hand of man, skills, passion and science,” reveals Forte. This is especially true today where it gets increasingly difficult to differentiate wines from one region to the next. “We are trying to bring the territory in your glass” explains the gentleman farmer.

Wine is king at Podere Forte and everything is geared towards quality, following a strict and rigorous approach that combines state of the art technology with ancient savoir-faire. While precise laboratory analysis is conducted at all stages of production, everything is done according to organic and biodynamic principles with soil planted in small experimental parcels carefully selected according to chemical, physical and biological analysis.“We grow Sangiovese with a plant density only the Romans were capable of.We even produce our own organic fertilizers with our own compost” adds Forte.

The results are superior quality grapes that suffer minimum handling to prevent any loss of fragrance and aroma thanks to a five story gravity-flow cellar. Only the top two levels of the building, designed by architect Fabrizio Zambelli, are visible from the outside to optimize the environmental impact on the surrounding landscape. Fermentation occurs in separate wood and tin tanks with carefully selected wine yeasts found on the property.

For Pasquale Forte, a wine bottle is much more than the result of high-technology: “A great wine is music, harmony, happiness and elegance. You know you are dealing with a great wine when the bottle gets finished quickly and you need another one right away,” he explains.

According to Forte, his wines - which have already been getting rave reviews - will only increase in quality since the vineyards are slowly reaching their optimal maturity stage. “The roots of our vines are digging deeper in the soil to extract all the extraordinary energy that stems from this unique place, which in turn we transform into our three coveted red wines: Petruccino, Petrucci e Guardiavigna.”

He concludes adding that the last few vintages were some of Podere Forte’s most significant - the result of a vision based on tremendous care and utmost dedication. In the span of only one decade, these attributes have managed to transform Podere Forte into one of the most prestigious wineries in Tuscany, by transmitting the beauty of the area’s unique landscape through their signature winemaking.

Yet, Forte’s vision goes beyond his winery. The work invested in Podere Forte is only a stepping stone for a greater project involving the whole revitalization of neighbouring Rocca d’Orcia’s medieval village - one of Tuscany’s most beautiful - with only a handful of residents remaining. The restoration is geared on the revival of its historic, cultural and architectural heritage through artistic activities and craftsmanship. The goal is to create a true eco-touristic project of regional influence with the opening of traditional workshops, stores, a wine bar, a luxury restaurant and Relais including a medicinal spa showcasing Podere Forte’s authentic, organic products.

Intens, rød purpur farge. Typisk 2006 voldsom og uforløst. Grønn og vanskelig. Veldig forskjellig fra f.eks. 2008 som er mere burgunder. 90 poeng

Bourgogne Blanc 2009, Coche Dury

47 Euro. Frisk og relativ smal duft i glasset. Krydret, frisk med allehånde. Citrus, spicy, spenstig og ungt. 

91 poeng. 

Meursault 2009, Coche Dury

119 Euro. Litt fetere nese og betydelig fetere i munnen. Krydret , smør og malt. Dypere fruktbilde, men herlig citrustrøkk. 93 poeng.

Rosso di Montalcino 2008, Poggio di Sotto

En overraskende eldet nese med snev av sødme. Transparent og lys farge. Strammer seg pent inn i munnen. Men litt vanskelig nå kanskje. Bør lagres litt før konsum ? Noe røkt, snev av lakris og en spennende nese. Fløtepus i munnen etter en tid. 91 poeng.

Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Schiena d`Asino 2006, Mastrojanni

Varm og rå vin. Stikkende syre, vinen prøver litt for hardt. For mange uharmoniske kanter. Intens 06 stil, men denne hadde kommet relativt langt allerede på en måte. Svir i munnen. 89 poeng.

Volnay 2009, Coche Dury

En veldig karikert oversjøisk Pinot-karakter. Drops, bringebær, mye smak. Mangler eleganse. Lilla og intens. Mangler Volnay karakter. Men 2009 blir ferskt. CD lager nok bedre hvitvin.....88 poeng.

Brunello di Montalcino 1979, S. Fillippo

Piemonteaktig gammel vin.. Salt, mørk frukt i nesa, i munnen mild og uten rosin. Som man kanskje forventet. Melkeaktig uten spisse kanter. Kaffe og lakris. Balanserer godt mellom frisk og eldet frukt. 92-95 poeng.
