Jeg var litt usikker på denne. Biondi Santi er "flaskevariasjonens mor", men jeg visste at var det en god flaske er den magisk. Og det var den.....Dyp og en utrolig forførende nese med snev av kaffe, sommerblomster, solmodne bær og et behagelig og pent touch av tanniner. Silkemykt og ingen noter av kjeller eller urenheter. Friskt og strengt. Full balanse og den beste Biondi Santi smakt. Roar var på Brunello. 96 poeng

B level fill, bright garnet, brick rim. Violets, fresh anis, leather, cherries, strawberries. Perfect balance, lively acidity, ripe and high tannins, extremelly complex, chocolate, truffles, so intense, gorgeous, perfection, and this very curious touch like a riesling BA's tropical touch, and minutes of aftertaste, closer to ten minutes actually. The nuances in this wine is beyond description, their so subtle, so discreet and comes in many waves of new flavours, almost youthfull, kan keep 40 more years. 99

Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou 1975, Saint Julien
Ikke lett å hoppe etter Wirkola, og denne led vel under det. Litt vaskepulver og grønt i nesa. Typisk elegant og lett Ducru, selv i et tøft tanninår som 1975 er i Bordeaux. God og perfekt struktur og mix av årgang og slottstypisitet er vellykket. Fragrant og pen vin, men mangler helt kompleksiteten til forrige vin. 89 poeng

Austere, tough and tanninc, the wine is better on the nose with its cedar, truffle, cigar box, tobacco, earth and dark cherry scented nose. There is no hurry to drink this wine, but I am not sure its going to improve.

Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 1975, Pauillac
Grønn og herbal, typisk "trang" 1975. Bra syre, frisk og grei, men relativ lineær og kjedelig. Mørk farge fremdeles, ganske typisk for slottet. God matvin, men ingen kosevin. 88 poeng.

The Bordeaux wine vineyard of Grand Puy Lacoste is 55 hecatres in one large block. The terroir has soils filled with large pebbles and stones. The plantings are 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc with a vine density of 10,000 vines per hectare. On average the vines are 38 years of age. But the estate has old vines as well dating back to 1947. Vinification takes place in 43 temperature, controlled stainless steel vats of various sizes ranging in size from 12 hectoliters all the way up to 180 hectoliters. Malolactic fermentation takes place in tank. This traditionally styled Bordeaux wine is aged in 70% new oak barrels for an average of 16 to 18 months. There is a second wine, Lacoste Borie.
